After winning the open architectural competition, we have been commissioned by the general planning and architetcural design for the new maintenance and control faciloty of the new subway line M4 of Budapest. The complex contains maintenace and storage halls for the trains, and a control center serving all the subway lines of Budapest. the halls are covered with green roof (appr. 22.000 m2 ) to obtain optimal water runoff and heat transmission, and accomodate the local flora and fauna.
